Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. $17 per hour. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient transportation planning and fleet management. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to analyze data, and experience with shipping and receiving processes. The Dispatcher will coordinate truck movements, manage phone systems, and perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and vendors regarding transportation needs.
Manage incoming and outgoing freight while adhering to company policies.
Utilize phone systems to maintain constant communication with fleet personnel.
Perform data entry tasks related to shipping documents and inventory management.
Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations.
Monitor fleet performance and address any issues that arise during transit.

Experience

Previous experience in dispatching or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with oilfield locations and water truck operations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess transportation needs effectively.
Proficient in using phone systems and data entry software for record keeping.
Knowledge of fleet management for both drilling and production operations.
